I'm Judy Ogaard, an elementary school teacher for 18 years, a mother of four, and a proud grandma. Beyond the classroom, my passions ignite with rock climbing, delving into a good book, biking through scenic trails, carving down snowy slopes, and creating with my hands. My life has been a rich tapestry of experiences, always seeking the next challenge and loving every moment.
The Alaskan adventure
My husband grew tired of city life, and I'm always ready for a new adventure; life gets boring otherwise! After dedicating seven years to caring for my aging parents, the call for a significant change grew louder. Alaska represents not just a new location, but a fresh start – a chance to reinvent life, build a homestead on 10 acres, and find a new career path in my 50s.
